Canoeing through the Wetlands necklace

First and foremost, the detail in this necklace is incredible considering it is only 1 1/4" long!  The scene is all hand cut by artist Jesse Mixer out of sterling silver. The canoe glides along the top of a cabochon aquamarine. The rough for this stone was mined from 2005-2007 at the Fuller Mountain Mine in Topsham, ME by Gary Howard.  The cab measures 21 x 19 mm and weighs 12.7 carats.
