Fox in Chase by Jesse Mixer

How does she do it???  Jewelry artist Jesse Mixer has incredible talent and she uses it to create stunning miniature works of art.  Using fine jewelry saws and sterling silver, she created small snapshots looking at the daily life of nature and our relationship with it.  

This necklace captures a fox in search of a midnight snack (or two) in the mountains.  Cleverly set in the middle is a lepidolite cabochon, mined at Mt. Mica in Paris, ME and acting as a pond reflecting the star light.
