Nestled into the handcrafted sterling silver and 14KT yellow gold frame is a lovely heart-shaped amethyst. Only two locations in Maine have produced facet grade amethyst: Deer Hill and the Saltman Prospect. This stone is from Deer Hill and was mined from 1967-1971 by Jim Mann. The stone measures 9.5 mm and weighs 2.19 carats. The pendant was handcrafted by Brian Quigley, a master jeweler from Moody, ME.
