Dark and light: a partnership for the ages. Reflected in this thin cuff bracelet series, each cuff features a different Maine mined gemstone. The bracelets were designed and hand crafted by Alex Boyd of Denver, CO. Constructed of sterling silver which is then oxidized to create the dark. Paired with 22KY gold to be the light, these cuffs would be great on their own or stacked. Average size of these bracelets is 7".
Each stone was mined here in Maine: most of them from mines that aren't really heard about. The round green tourmaline came from the Berry Mine in Poland and was mined in 1997. The oval green tourmaline was mined at the Howard Collins Mine in Georgetown from mining within the last three years. The dark blue/green tourmaline is from the modern workings on Plumbago Mountain in Newry in 2009. As with every purchase, each bracelet comes with a history card detailing all of this information.
