Just like the original satellite ring, perched in the orbit of this ring is a tourmaline. This ring is a smaller version; with the tourmalines measuring 2 mm and weighing .05 carats. The pink were mined at the Dunton Mine from 1972-1974 by the Plumbago Mining Corporation and the blue and green were mined at Mt. Mica in Paris, ME by Brett Leighton.
The ring was handcrafted by Cathy Heinz of Cathy Heinz Designs of Cumberland Foreside, ME. Made using sterling silver and 14K yellow gold.
