Pink Clover Pendant

"The Big Find" of 1972 to 1974 at the Dunton Quarry in Newry produced an incredible amount of gem tourmaline rough.  The pink tourmaline at the center of this pendant was faceted from rough found during that time.  

Maine jewelry artist Pamela Hitchcock took the gem and framed it in 18KT yellow gold allowing the color of the gem to pop!  The tourmaline measures 8 x 6 mm and weighs 1.32 carats.
