Satellite Ring

Perched in the middle of this ring is a lovely tourmaline, much like satellites are out in space.  

The tourmalines in the ring all measure 3 mm and weigh around .11 carats.  The pink tourmalines are from Mt. Marie in Paris, ME and were mined by Dennis Durgin from 2009-2013.  The blue and green tourmalines were mined at Mt. Mica in Paris, ME mined by Brett Leighton in the 1990's.

The ring mounting was handcrafted by Cathy Heinz of Cathy Heinz Designs of Cumberland Foreside, ME. Made using sterling silver and 14K yellow gold.
