Tree and Amethyst Earrings

Surrounded by forests, the Deer Hill complex has produced beautiful amethyst for many decades. The amethyst that produced these cabochons was mined from 1967-1971 by Jim Mann.  They measure 10 x 8 mm and weigh 4.70 total carats. They are nestled amongst trees that were hand cut in sterling silver with some seriously fine saw work.  They were crafted by artist Jesse Mixer of Conway, NH.
