Emmons Pegmatite Raffle

Have you ever wanted to go rockhounding but didn't want to go without an experienced collector?  Or, are you an advanced mineral collector looking to get into a location that is only open to mineral clubs?  If so, we have a great opportunity for you.  

We are raffling off a rockhounding excursion to the Emmons Pegmatite with our experimental chemist and researcher Al Falster. Al has been working the Emmons for many years in a deliberate and researched focused manner.  By doing this, he has found several new and unnamed mineral species and has added to our knowledge of how pegmatites and their mineralization form. As of April 2026, there have been 243 mineral species found at the Emmons! Among the mineral species found, one is tantalowodginite for which the Emmons pegmatite is the type location and several others are still being worked on.

• 3 Winners can bring up to 2 guests each
• Raffle is open 4/11 - 5/17
• Tickets $20/each
• Drawing will be May 18th at 11am, but winners need not be present to win
• Raffle winners will be contacted via email
